“Clive to Camera” series on Pause
Due to the huge demands of Clive's, and his Johnny Cash tribute band The Johnny Cash Roadshow's, charity concert in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice in a couple of weeks the next video will be done for February, instead of January, and will be put into the Members Area.
Don't forget to leave your Clive John song request on the members only Request Form if you would like a song dedication.

In Memory of Chris, My Friend
“Now that the year is drawing to an end I think it should be a time to look back and remember the people that have touched us but are sadly no longer with us.

Clive John's beautiful acoustic version of his song “In A Whisper” clinched the number 1 position of the British & Irish Top 10 HotDisc chart for three weeks in December.

“If You Are Listening” Santa!
“If You Are Listening” is Clive's brand new Christmas song and is now up on YouTube to watch, or click the video above.
This is the first public performance of the song and was recorded at Clive's Johnny Cash Tribute Band Christmas Show at the Artrix Theatre in Bromsgrove on 20th December 2008.

Acorns Update
We have started the Christmas week with fantastic news that we have so far raised £2429.82.
Thank you to everyone who has donated - this is such a worthwhile charity. A big thank you to our Johnny Cash Roadshow Artrix Christmas Show audience who raised our total by £134.00!

Help Clive Raise £10,000 for Acorns
Acorns is Clive John's official charity and along with his tribute band, The Johnny Cash Roadshow, he is hoping to raise £10,000 for this essential Midlands charity that provides much needed care to life-limited children and support for their families.
Clive is aiming to reach this target to coincide with his Grand Charity Benefit Concert at the Malvern Forum Theatre on Thursday 15th January 2009.
To make it as easy to donate as possible a Just Giving webpage has been set up. Clicking the “DONATE!” button on the widget above will take you straight to that page.
The Just Giving website offers a quick and simple way for people to raise money for their charity whilst also adding gift aid to the donation.
To put a scale on things - £10,000 pays for just over two days of running costs for one Hospice!

Relax & Pour the Wine
Clive John's first video of his “Clive to Camera” series has been added to his YouTube Channel - it was first shown in the Members Area on 1st November 2008.
Having received many requests for this video series Clive wanted to do this one, sent in by Steve Shaw.
Steve and his wife Sharon had recently celebrated twenty-one years of marriage and Steve thought it would be a lovely gift to ask Clive to perform Sharon's favourite song of his for her.
Congratulations to them both.

In A Whisper No.1! Update
This new unplugged version of Clive's song “In A Whisper” is at number 1 for the second week in the British & Irish Top 10 HotDisc chart.
It has also risen to No.3 in the Hotdisc Top 20 Chart (No.4 last week) and No.4 in the Hotdisc Top 40 Chart (No.5 last week).

In A Whisper No.1!
A new unplugged version of Clive's song “In A Whisper” has shot to number 1 in the British & Irish Top 10 HotDisc chart.
This fantastic acoustic mix entered the chart last Thursday at No.2 and today (13th Nov.) it popped into the No.1 slot. “In A Whisper” is also at No.4 in the Hotdisc Top 20 Chart (No.7 last week) and No.5 in the Hotdisc Top 40 Chart (No.8 last week).

New Clive John Acoustic Video Series
Clive is very excited to announce his monthly personal acoustic video series, Clive to Camera, starting at the beginning of November.
The series is planned to run for 6 months, featuring songs from his albums, and each video will appear in the exclusive Members Area a month before publishing them to his YouTube Channel.

Clive's version of Mark Maysey's song
Mark Maysey (singer/songwriter from America) wrote a beautiful song entitled “When All We Need Is Love” and asked if Clive would do a cover of it.
Clive thought it was a lovely idea and was honoured to be asked. He has just uploaded his version to YouTube so please take a look and let us know what you think.

While Clive learned Mark's song he quickly put up a version of one of his new songs, Competitive Ways, specially recorded - and first ever recording of this song - at his band rehearsal last week. He felt that it was in a similar vein to Mark's song and it is about the challenges that us ordinary folks face.

From his album Time, Clive wrote These Hills whilst in Connecticut a few years back to remind him of the Malvern Hills. Malvern is where Clive was born and raised, and still lives today.

Acorns Hospice Visit
Today Clive and the Johnny Cash Roadshow band were privileged to visit the Worcester Acorns Children's Hospice - thank you to Sophie for her time and for such an informative tour.
The Acorns facilities are absolutely amazing and provide wonderful care and support to life-limited children and their families in our local area.

Acorns is our Official Charity
Clive John / Johhny Cash Roadshow is proud to announce that Acorns Children's Hospice is our official charity.
This charity gives much needed care to life-limited children and support for their families throughout the Midlands, England.
Acorns has three hospices situated in Birmingham, Walsall, and Worcester and a Community Team that offers practical and emotional support to families in their homes, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

No.5 in the Top 40
Following on from the success of Clive's version of The Battle Hymn of Love, which reached No.1 in the HotDisc Charts, Clive's fantastic song Beautiful Lie is this week at No.5 in the Top 40 chart.
It is also at No.3 in both the Hotdisc Independent Top 20 and the Hotdisc Independent British & Irish Top 10. Well done Clive!

The Battle Hymn of Love is now at no.1 (up from no.2 last week) in the HotDisc Independent British & Irish Top 10, and no.2 (up from no.4 last week) in the HotDisc Independent Top 20.
Clive's beautiful rendition of this song entered the HotDisc Top 40 chart at no.10 and has now risen to no.6.

The Battle Hymn of Love on Hotdisc
Clive recently recorded an acoustic version of the lovely song The Battle Hymn of Love for a fan as a gift to his wife for their wedding anniversary.
Clive's beautiful rendition of this song is a new entry on the HotDisc Top 40 at no.10 this month.
The Battle Hymn of Love is now at no.3 in the HotDisc Independent British & Irish Top 10, and no.4 in the HotDisc Independent Top 20.
